Grzegorz Masłowski is a dynamic drummer and improviser closely connected to Poland's jazz scene, particularly in Kraków. A graduate of the Music Academies in Katowice and Kraków, he’s garnered numerous awards, including the prestigious “Młoda Polska” scholarship from the Ministry of Culture for outstanding musical achievements. His accolades include international competition wins at events such as Getxo Jazz Festival (Spain), Jazz nad Odrą (Wrocław), and Jazz Juniors (Kraków).
He’s a two-time recipient of the Czech Republic’s “Andel” award for Best Jazz Album with Inner Spaces and the Stepanka Balcarova Septet and has also been nominated for Poland’s “Fryderyk” award for Phonographic Jazz Debut of the Year with the Kajetan Borowski Trio.
Known for his improvisational approach, Grzegorz collaborates with top-tier Polish jazz musicians and is a member of bands like Grzegorz Karnas Formula, Coherence Quartet, and Organ Spot. His extensive experience includes international performances and nearly 20 album recordings
